Mission statement - who we are
 

      The WSPCR, or Westcoast Society for the Protection & Conservation of Reptiles, is a society for herpetoculturists and reptile enthusiasts based in the Lower Mainland & Vancouver Island areas of BC.
 
The Purpose of the WSPCR:

  • To encourage and educate the general public in conservation of reptiles and amphibians.
  • To encourage the captive breeding of reptiles in order to discourage the removal of reptiles from their native habitats.
  • To encourage and participate in habitat conservation and restoration.
  • To enable herpetologists to share resources and information through the research and study of reptiles and amphibians.

A medium sized with huge girth python from South East Asia, 5 - 7 feet long and up to 40 pounds. Considered nervous and quick to bite, but many people find them very tame and gentle. Likes high humidity.
