We
got started with reptiles in 2001. I had wanted a snake
for many years and finally succumbed to the call when
I bought Cuervo, my first ball python. Since then we have
built our collection somewhat .. :-P. As a result of caring for our new friends
we became much more interested in the environmental issues of keeping reptiles and
started Safe Havens Environments .. building show quality "safe" homes for reptiles and
other animals. You can see some of my enclosures here: Safe

We have since expanded to include
food items (frozen mice and rabbits) for the local pet
community and local wildlife rescues.

I am a tinkerer. I do wood and metalworking, computer
animations, programing, and web design (to name a few).
My regular job is painting movie sets.
Krysta is an avid horseperson and also helps out with web stuff.
